- I became an artist thanks to fibromyalgia. For two years I was so sick all I could do was sit in a chair or lie in bed and draw. I was so weak I would be breathless walking across a room. I lost 30 pounds. My lowest weight was 98 pounds. By a stroke of luck I met R.
